This position is integral to promoting communication with state and local regulatory partners as well as industry and public entities by educating them on the environmental health issues.
What you’ll do: - Ensure the proper licensing of lodging establishments within the State of Missouri.
- Maintain and enter information into the Lodging Access Database.
- Provide guidance and assistance to constituents regarding licensing, licensing status, and/or complaints.
- Review inspection reports conducted at licensed lodging establishments.
- Assist program manager with day to day program operations.
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR four or more years of experience in public health, mental health, education, social services, public or business administration, health care, and/or health care administration. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- The ideal candidate will operate in a fast-paced environment requiring high focus, attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, and the ability to multi-task using various computer software programs; especially Microsoft Access.
- This person shall have superior customer service skills as well as the ability to work independently and triage issues.
- You will be working in a multi-team member environment which requires emotional intelligence, experience in exercising autonomy, and the ability to use analytical thinking skills and requires a professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
