Full-time position available with the Aviation Department, Airport Police Division-Security Compliance Section located at 1 Kansas City Blvd
Salary Range: $5,794-$8,833/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities- Manages the Airport ID Office badging system LENEL.
- Monitors the Airport CCTV system MILESTONE to ensure compliance with TSA regulations.
- Required to attain TSA Airport Security Coordinator Certification.
- Monitors AAAE TSC to ensure Aviation workers have met TSA requirements.
- Enrolled into FBI Rapback and have passed an FBI CHRC check and a TSA STA check.
- Updates Airport ID media for Aviation employees when badges are issued, suspended and returned.
- Completes monthly Airport ID media audits.
- Makes corrections as necessary.
- Monitors FBI FPRD system to ensure employees are vetted and results are retrieved by Airport ID staff daily.
- Manages the Airport ID office operations to ensure compliance with TSA 1542 Regulations.
- Conducts training of Airport ID office staff on the ID Office SOPs.
- Oversees implementation of the new Airport ID Office IDMS badging system.
Qualifications
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in airport operations, airport regulatory compliance, or oversight of building and/or construction operations at an airport; OR High School graduation and 6 years of experience airport operations, airport regulatory compliance, or oversight of building and/or construction operations at an airport.

Positions requiring a high school diploma/GED certificate must be obtained from a school/program accredited by the Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
