    Administrative Support Assistant - Driver's License Bureau

    Department of Revenue

    Location: Truman Building - 301 West High Street, Jefferson City, MO

    Annual Salary: $ 38,149.68

    HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    The Driver License Bureau front office seeks a dependable, energetic and motivated individual to join our team! The qualified candidate will contribute to the efficiency of the bureau's day to day operation by providing valuable clerical and administrative services.

    DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the bureau;
    • Assist management by handling office tasks such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing personnel documents, reserving vehicles for travel, and provide additional support as needed;
    • Provide polite, accurate, and professional assistance on the phone with citizens and other stakeholders;
    • Prepare and mail/email/fax office correspondence;
    • Assist with time keeping in Leavetrack, supply orders and the hiring process for the bureau;
    • Assist with coordination of floor wide employee events and retirement receptions; and
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • One to three years of relevant experience;
    • Possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate;
    • Detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills;
    • Ability to learn new tasks quickly;
    • Excellent computer skills;
    • Work with team members and the public on a variety of issues; and,
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
