We are recruiting to fill a Pretrial Services Principal Management Analyst I position to assist the courts in connecting individuals with services to ensure appearance in court and lessens the risk of committing additional crimes. This position is also the liaison between the judiciary, state agencies and community providers.
- Analyze, develop and implement best practices to guide evidence-based pretrial programs throughout the state.
- Problem solve with community and statewide resources to expand services available to participants in the community.
- Provide oversight and advise courts on trends in pretrial programs.
- Facilitate research on the implementation of pretrial programs and determine data needed to report the status and outcomes of these programs and the impact to the state.
- Help identify gaps and areas of need to ensure programs success.
- Staff the Pretrial Coordinating Commission to provide appropriate information for the commission to oversee these programs and distribute finds accordingly.
Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management and 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.
Preferred qualifications: - Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of pretrial services.
- Ability to analyze problems and needs and make effective recommendations.
- Ability to use automated operating systems, Windows, word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to travel to the courts to provide onsite technical and administrative assistance to court personnel (some positions require extensive overnight travel).
