The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agency Manager of
Quality Assurance. The division is seeking to fill this unclassified position to lead the statewide Quality Assurance teams
within the Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD).

mission of ADSD is to provide leadership and advocacy in the planning, development and delivery of a high quality,
comprehensive support service system across the lifespan to allow all of Nevada's older adults, children and adults with
disabilities or special health care needs, to live independent, meaningful, and dignified lives to the greatest extent possible.
The responsibility of ADSD is to ensure the provision of effective support and services to meet the needs of individuals
and families.
This position will focus on leading and ensuring comprehensive oversight and coordination of key programs within ADSD.
The incumbent is instrumental in the efficacy, integrity and responsiveness of statewide programs while maintaining
quality assurance and improvement, data driven decision making, financial integrity and accountability, policy
development and implementation of stakeholder engagement, advocacy and support, and protecting vulnerable
populations throughout Nevada. Developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits and using
data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement. This continuous monitoring helps maintain compliance with
state and federal regulations, ensuring services meet or exceed established standards which align with division objectives
as well as federal requirements for grant funding and Medicaid home and community-based waiver funding. Incumbents
will be expected to have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to research and develop internal capacity controls, monitor
program outcomes to ensure reliability of implementation and impact on populations the program serves. Develop quality
assurance plans by conducting program analyses; identifying critical points and preventive measures; establishing
benchmarks, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures. Oversee provider billing audits to
help detect and prevent fraudulent activities, misallocation of grant funds and essential provider billing and grant
management audits to ensure regulatory compliance, financial integrity and operational efficiency.
REQUIRED Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, health, or social science, public or business
administration or related field and seven years of progressively responsible experience implementing and directing social
service programs; coordinating program activities, writing program policies, procedures, and reports, interpreting, and
applying complex federal regulations and legislative studies. Two years of the experience must have been at a managerial
level; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
SPECIAL NOTES AND REQUIREMENTS: Statewide travel is required.
Position Location: Carson City or Las Vegas Nevada.
SALARY AND Benefits: Compensation is up to $151,108 annual salary. Salary Range reflects retirement (PERS)
contributions by both the employee and employer. An employer paid contribution plan is available with a reduced gross
salary. Excellent benefits package of medical, dental and vision care, as well as life and disability insurance; paid holidays;
generous leave benefits; contribution to the secure defined-benefit retirement plan (NV PERS) and no state, county, city,
or social security tax. Other employee benefits such as deferred compensation plans are available. State employees do
