HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: The Administrative Manager position provides leadership and management decisions for the Income Tax Bureau. This position will oversee approximately 35 employees, including two Customer Service Managers and an Associate Research/Data Analyst. The position leads the Federal/State Coordinator, the Refunds and Returned Mail Section, and the Discovery Section. The Refunds and Returned Mail Section is responsible for ensuring that income tax refunds are issued daily. If refunds are returned due to an incorrect address, this section researches and updates the account with the correct mailing address. They handle returned mail and incoming mail received for the Income Tax Bureau. The Discovery section ensures that our Missouri customers are tax compliant with filing and paying income taxes. The position of the Federal/State Coordinator is responsible for making sure that the Department is safeguarding Federal Tax Information according to IRS guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years of relevant experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Extensive leadership and proven management skills and strategic planning of diverse and complex operations
- Ability to lead others to support and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace and ensure timely return processing
- Ability to develop and lead process improvement projects through successful project management principles
- Ability to develop and utilize data to evaluate and measure performance and deliverables
