This is a clerical position within Division of Human Services/Business Operations.

This position assists with the duties of Telecommunications Section, and reports to the DOC Telecommunications Coordinator.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Processing telecom tickets via the ITSD Cherwell Portal as well as telecom requests received internally via the DOC Telecom inbox in a timely manner.
• Assists in monitoring the DOC Telecom inbox.
• Codes all paper telephone bills, maintains FCC Licensing renewals as well as the review of the monthly Pinnacle telephone bills for approval.
• Primary backup to the switchboard

Minimum Qualifications:

One or more years of experience in office support work; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. Recordkeeping experience is preferred, but not required.

(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 credit hours for one year)

Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly, which is provided to employees with shifts that begin on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am, and who work at a 24/7 worksite (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center), or whose work requires regular visits to these locations. If selected for interview, eligibility may be discussed at that time with the hiring manager.
