    We’re seeking an Accounting & Financial Analyst (AFA) I/II to join our Finance and Acquisition Support Team (FAST). This role offers a clear path for advancement from AFA I to AFA II as you develop expertise and gain experience.

    Examples of Duties

    Your Impact:

    • Responsible for preparation of internal and external financial reports.
    • Perform financial analysis, assist with budgeting, and support capital projects.
    • Maintain general ledger accuracy and prepare journal entries.
    • Contribute to year-end audits and the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
    • Handle confidential payroll and benefits information.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • A four-year degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. However, we recognize that relevant work experience can be just as valuable. If you have a combination of education, training, and professional experience that has equipped you with the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply.
    • AFA I: 1-3 years of professional accounting experience.
    • AFA II: 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with accounting software.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.

    Candidates who meet minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in an Online Written Exam scheduled for Monday - Tuesday, 11/11/2024 - 11/12/2024.

    The most qualified candidates will be invited to a Virtual Qualifications Appraisal Interview and Work Sample scheduled for Thursday, 11/21/2024.

    In-Person Finalist interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, 12/3/2024.
