    What You'll Be Doing

Can you maintain the course in an extremely fast paced environment? You will also need to bring those excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with you!

    We are looking for a well organized Administrative Specialist who will provide support to Child Welfare. This position is responsible for exercising discretion while working on confidential and highly important matters in an extremely fast paced environment.

    Your primary functions will be:
    • Preparing, reviewing and editing communications; creating and publishing reports; reviewing and analyzing information
    • Making purchases to support Child Welfare and services to families
    • Acting as Liaison between internal and external community partners
    • Serving as a leader for diverse workgroups
    • Preparing and posting meeting agendas; arranging for and setting up meeting, (virtual and remote); taking and preparing minutes of team and committee meetings
    • Researching information, documents and other materials for the team
    • Entering information and maintaining databases of departmental activities, (such as materials, budget expenditures and supply inventories)

    The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Two years of administrative/office support experience
    • Equivalent education and experience are accepted
    • Please include ALL prior work experience on your application and resume.


    Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

    • Two years or more of administrative/office support experience including data management, reporting and general office support
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Proven experience providing high-level administrative support to an agency, exercising discretion and working on highly confidential and important matters

    • Ability to understand issues, identify problems and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action

    • Time management and organizational skills

    Work Schedule: Mon-Fri from 8:30 am - 5:15 pm

    Hiring Range: 22.48 - 26.49

    Market Range: 22.48 - 30.51

    Emergency Service Worker Statement
