THE POSITION

Examples of Duties

In this position you will:

• Manage overall planning, development, and implementation of the daily operation of Prescott Valley TV, including preparing recorded and live video programming for Townwide marketing and communications of Town news and information for employees and the general public.

• Maintain engineering and regulatory standards as related to operating a government access TV channel, video web-streaming and social media video programming.

• Provide quality service to a diverse customer base; interact with all levels of management and staff to coordinate and supervise a variety of live, field and studio productions.

• Operate digital video cameras and equipment related to television studios, control rooms, field productions, live televised public Town Council meetings with multi-camera directing, non-linear video edit systems, and other related equipment and software; troubleshoot, test, repair, replace and install equipment and software as needed.

• Maintain Town website content including live media streaming, Video on Demand, YouTube Channel archives and Community Calendar.

Typical Qualification

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Arts, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field with a minimum of four (4) years' work experience in broadcast TV production experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Possession of a valid Driver's License and ability to pass a pre-employment background check including driving record.

• Knowledge of methods and techniques for developing and presenting marketing, promotion, advertising, public information and community relation events.

• Skill in video production including writing, linear and non-linear editing, field production, live switching, lighting, audio mixing, computer graphics, camera testing/diagnostic equipment, and automatic playback systems.

Compensation:
The Town's complete compensation package includes salary, benefits, and a high performance culture. The Town package includes a no-cost to individual health insurance plan and a generous retirement package including participation in the Arizona State Retirement System.
The salary range is $67,745 to $94,848.
The expected hiring range is $67,745 to $77,896.
