    Job/Department Summary:

    Under minimal supervision from the Associate Director of Operations & Technology, the incumbent will processes admission applications, determine eligibility for admission, and evaluate which credits can be transferred from other institutions and how that credit satisfies Chico State GE requirements. The main populations of focus will be on transfer, returning, and second bachelor's degree seeking students. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting with evaluations for first-time-in-college students.

    Required Education and Experience:

    This position requires the equivalent to completion of a formal training program in academic records evaluation;

    OR

    One year of academic records evaluation experience;

    OR
    Any full-time 12-month combination of training and experience related to academic records evaluation.

    Preferences:

    Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
    • Bilingual/Multilingual skills.
    • Experience working as an Admissions Evaluator in higher education.

    Time Base: Full-time- 1.0

    Pay Plan: 12/12

    Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00-5:30.

    CSU Classification Salary Range: $48,708 - $68,544 per year.

    Additional Information:

    California State University, Chico, in accordance with CSU policy, requires that the successful candidate complete a background check (including a criminal records check, sexual offender registry check, and/or fingerprinting) prior to assuming this position. This position is considered a sensitive position based on CSU guidelines. Incumbent is responsible for the safety and security of Level 1 data, sometimes also referred to as Level 1 protected data.     This position as set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083, revised July 21, 2017 is not designated as a required mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.

    Throughout employment in this position incumbent must maintain a valid California Driver's License as well as continued completion and compliance of the CSU Defensive Driver's Training course.
