    Interview patients, relatives, significant others and outside agencies to gather data and interpret treatment issues. Gather detailed information through oral communication and make assessments and interpretations based on emotional tone, inflections, and speech patterns. Compose assessments, treatment plans, court documents, aftercare plans, progress notes, and enter them into the medical record. Produce timely and legible progress notes in the medical record to comply with standards. Actively participate as a constructive member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, including exchange of verbal and written communication for the purpose of determining management and treatment issues and interventions for patients and families. Provide effective testimony as required in legal cases to include forensic review. Assess and respond to crisis situations in a manner that assures safety of self and others. Know and understand the supervisory process, to include receiving instruction in social work methods and techniques. Successfully complete initial and continuing competency training in order for the facility to meet accreditation standards. Work with clients within high and/or minimum security environments who are in early adulthood or adulthood with developmental disabilities, serious mental illness, and/or paraphilic disorder. Provide competency restoration treatment to clients and provide substance abuse treatment. Provide other specialized treatments/services to include, but not limited to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Illness Management and Recovery treatment (IMR), and Behavior Support Plan treatment (BSP). Complete assessments for clients to determine if legal guardianship is required and prepare documents in support of guardianship and/or conservatorship petition and provide expert testimony in court hearings on said petition. Develop and maintain Individual Treatment and Rehabilitation Plans for clients. Multiple openings. Position requires Master’s degree in Social Work.
