    Salary Range: $40,600 - $61,000

    General Summary

    This position provides direct support to a Pollution Control Monitor Supervisor to conduct inspections of regulated Food Service Establishments, facilitate compliance with the requirements of the City of Atlanta’s Food Service Wastewater Discharge Permits, Grease Management Plan, the First Amended Consent Decree, and in overall compliance support required in accordance with the U. S. Clean Water Act.

    Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
    • Applicants for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, biology, Chemistry, or one of the Earth Sciences.
    • One-year experience in Food Service Establishment Inspections, industrial waste inspections, wastewater monitoring, and /or compliance activities; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.
    • Must possess a valid Georgia Driver License.

    Licensures and Certifications
    • Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License required,
    • GACE (Georgia Association of Code Enforcement) level 1 or the ability to obtain one is desirable.
    • Wastewater Laboratory Analyst certification is desirable.
