Candidate must be a motivated "self-starter" and have the ability to prioritize work assignments.

    • Provide excellent customer service to Missouri’s 115 local public health agencies (LPHAs) by answering technical questions and providing support regarding the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG), while also assisting them with any other questions they may have during the interaction.
    • Create and maintain technological systems utilized to record grant data collected from LPHAs and other sources based on both internal and external needs.
    • Organize data to generate and disseminate reports to CDC, legislators, and other external partners when requests arise.
    • Possess the capability to read and have an extensive understanding of Missouri statutes, as well as, the Missouri State Code of Regulations, possess the ability to explain and apply them to life situations when necessary.
    • Produce public health trainings and educational content as needs arise based on feedback from LPHAs.
    • Assist in contract management, budget review, monitoring, invoice processing and oversight of the PHIG grant and additional CLPHS contracts.
    • Possess strong analytical thinking skills and problem-solving techniques to assist the CLPHS team, LPHAs, and partners in finding solutions to challenging public health issues .


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint
    • Must be able to work with considerable independence performing a wide range of duties to support the Center for Local Public Health Services.
    • Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed).
