Job Location: This position will be located at the Harry S Truman Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Our internships in the Division of Facilities, Maintenance, Design and Construction offer an opportunity to receive meaningful work experience in the Facilities Management and Operations field. You will perform entry-level tasks while taking part in skills development activities and projects. The internship schedule is flexible at 20-40 hours per week.
What you’ll do: - Assist FMDC Operations Managers and Supervisors in daily operation of facilities in the Central Region
- Assist Specialized Trades Workers with daily maintenance and performing work orders
- Attend pre-construction and construction progress meetings in the facilities under Central Region Operations' purview
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s degree program, technical college, or vocational college
- Action-oriented, enjoys working with hands-on projects - you don’t enjoy being at a desk all day
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
