As a Project Coordinator I/II on our Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting a variety of projects, from construction and maintenance to special studies. Examples of DutiesWhat You’ll Do: - Project Documentation & Tracking: Prepare, review, and manage essential project documents like contracts, bids, and budgets. Maintain accurate records and keep stakeholders updated.
- Contract & Vendor Support: Coordinate contract administration, including pre- and post-award support, bid evaluations, and tracking invoices.
- Resource Coordination: Identify project needs, coordinate resources, and help maintain effective workflows to keep projects on track.
- Records & Information Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical records, supporting a "paperless" environment and ensuring compliance with records management standards.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external agencies, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring alignment across projects.

What You Bring:For Project Coordinator I:
- High school diploma and two years of college (or a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred)
- 1+ years of administrative or technical support experience in project environments
For Project Coordinator II: - High school diploma with additional college coursework or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of project, administrative, or technical support experience, including at least one year in a similar project-focused role
Skills & Abilities:- Technical Proficiency: You’re skilled in software applications for project tracking and communication.
- Attention to Detail: You’re precise with documentation and record-keeping, and you spot inconsistencies before they become issues.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to conduct research, analyze data, and present findings clearly.
- Communication & Teamwork: Effective communicator and team player who can handle fast-paced, collaborative environments with ease.
Preferred Knowledge:- Principles of contract administration
- Basics of construction and engineering documentation
- Budgeting, records management, and procurement processes
Licenses & Certifications: Valid California Class C driver’s license required.
