Job Location: This position will be located at 1706 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65102.
Why you’ll love this position:The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) seeks to hire a Housing Development Officer. This is a Central Office position and will be domiciled in Jefferson City, MO. Remote work may be a possibility after the successful completion of an initial training period.
- Provide training and technical assistance to providers across the state.
- Engage in local HUD Continuum of Care meetings.
- Manage coordinated entry case conferencing for numerous regions.
- Determine eligibility for various federal and state programs.
- Data entry into the Homelessness Management Information Systems.
- Review monthly invoices.
- Working directly with Missourians who experience Severe Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorders in obtaining services and benefits that help them to meet their needs.
Minimum Qualifications: - Knowledgeable of community behavioral health programs/services
- Grant management and review processes
- Complex case problem-solving
- Facilitation of virtual and in-person trainings
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Grammar, spelling, punctuation and technical writing skills
- Data entry, analysis and collection
Required Qualifications: - One to three years of professional experience in grant management/compliance, case management, training or technical assistance, behavioral health case management, homelessness case management or closely related area.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Public Administration is preferred.
