Job Summary The Parking Facilities Supervisor will perform and be responsible for the administration and operational supervision of City of Orlando owned and operated parking facilities and surface lots. They will coordinate parking logistics for events at the Kia Center, Exploria Stadium, and other various downtown venues. In addition, they will ensure we have the appropriate staffing levels for daily operations, events, assist with special parking projects, and maintain event signage and data. Handles, balances, and maintains cash and revenue control equipment. Will work closely with Garage Security, first responders, and contract vendors. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Parking Operations Program Manager and is reviewed for results obtained through daily reporting and conferences.
WORK SCHEDULE varies to include weekends, holidays, evenings and overnights based on division needs and event schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:Associate’s Degree and two (2) years of experience working in parking, transportation, hospitality, operations, customer service, public service, or event coordination (public or private)
required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. One year of supervisory experience in a service industry
required. Some event management and/or coordination experience is preferred. Parking Enforcement Specialist Certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Must pass polygraph examination. A valid Florida Driver’s License is
required.
