Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Why you will love this position: The Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission (Commission) is a higher authority that reviews workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation cases, tort victims’ compensation fund appeals, post-secondary degree appeals and prevailing wage objections. The Commission reviews all rules or regulations promulgated by the divisions within the Department of Labor. The Commission provides a team environment and small office atmosphere with limited remote work possibilities.
What you will do: - Liaison for the Commission and serves as a Senior Executive Assistant
- Review and attest Commission decisions
- Certify documents
- Monitor Commission budget and attend budget meetings
- Post notices, prepare agendas and minutes for open meetings
- Respond to inquiries from the court, parties and the public
- Maintain official records of the Commission
- Process human resource actions for the Commission
- Timesheet Approval
- Process payments in Missouri Buys
- Represent the Commission on Workers’ Compensation Modernization Project (WCC)
- Supervises administrative staff

Requirements under § 286.040 RSMo: - Missouri citizen
- Qualified Voter of Missouri
- At least five years’ experience in business or public administration or office management
Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Missouri workers’ compensation and/or unemployment
