What you'll do: - Schedule, plan and organize hiring events to attract prospective employees. Schedule, plan and organize new employee recruitment events at local college’s, workforce development centers, community events.
- Submit completed hiring packets to CD human resource unit for processing and faclitate the movement of new hires through HireTrue to ensure all required documents are submitted for applicants to begin working for CD within a reasonable timeframe
- Ensure new employee’s have all equipment, access and and workspace ready and available on their first day and Ensure new employee completes all necessary paperwork on their first day of work
- Create new employee welcome packets and review the packets with new employees on their first day and at regular intervals throughout their first year
- Onboard new employees by reviewing policies, work schedules, dress code, job expectations, introduce new employees to existing employees, and tour of the office
- Schedule and track new employees for all required training and develop an individual plan for job shadowing and mentoring through their first year of employment
- Recommending changes to and updating procedures, providing reports, and responding to information requests.
- Review human resources information and maintain accurate records compliant with relevant federal and state laws.
- Accountable for a variety of support service functions.
- Assist in other regions as needed.
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - Three or more years of experience as a Human Resources Assistant with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
OR - A High School Diploma or High School Equivalent and Four or more years of professional human resources/personnel administration experience with a primary focus in employee relations, recruitment and selections, employee grievance, position classification, and/or compensation.
OR - A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
(A combination of earned credit hours from an accredited college or university in the preferred fields such as Business, Public, or Personnel Administration; Industrial and Labor Relations; Psychology; Statistics and experience described may substitute for the stated qualifications. 30 credit hours are equivalent to 1 year of experience. Professional experience as described must be of a substantial period of time (over 50% of time)).

- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout the State of Missouri as needed
