Why you’ll love this position: As a participant in the Summer Internship program with the State of Missouri, Office of Administration you will have a unique opportunity assisting with a program known as Missouri Vital Enterprise Resource System (MOVERS). MOVERS is a statewide initiative to replace legacy statewide administrative systems making data more easily accessible and achieving significant reduction in manual and duplicative processes. Benefiting staff and leadership by providing enhanced functionality and improved business processes. This teams focus is on replacing the HR systems portion of the project. In addition to applying your technical skills and gaining experience in HR processes, you will be a part of a team building the foundation for the next generation of HR data to be used across the state workforce.
Note: Interviews will take place in February/March with start date of May 16, 2025, or June 1, 2025.
Responsibilities: - Communicate with state Human Resource offices to gather information as needed.
- Compile agency information/data and provide overview to project leads.
- Collaborate with project team to translate data into meaningful findings for next steps.
- Validate data integrity and identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Review data sets in detail to standardize and ensure quality and consistency.
- Utilize formulas and calculations to derive any necessary information.
Assist with test scenarios to ensure data and process flows are functioning as anticipated.
Qualifications - All you need for success.Minimum Qualifications: - Highly proficient use of Excel and Access.
- Awareness of data validation methods and quality reviews.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to navigate large data sets.
- Ability to organize and present findings to business users.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
