REASONS TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THE TRADES:
Interesting: Trades provide the option to work with your hands in a fast-paced environment in a job that can vary daily and add a challenging element.
Less Time in School: The path to working in the trades can be a shorter that other career paths but with salaries comparable to jobs that require a four-year degree. This can mean less time in school (or none) and less student loan debt.
Advancement Opportunity: There are opportunities in the trade industry for upward mobility. While some jobs have less room for advancement than others, there are often many opportunities for senior positions, cross training, management, and supervisory positions in many skilled trade occupations.
