    We are seeking an experienced Revenue Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Revenue Services division of the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office. This position is responsible for managing debt collection for the Courts, managing the County’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), a Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID), and recovering delinquent accounts on behalf of the County.

    Under the direction of the Treasurer-Tax Collector and Assistant Treasurer-Tax Collector, the position will be responsible for developing and implementing division goals, establishing procedures for accounting and financial management systems, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

    This position oversees a team of professionals and is responsible for assigning Revenue Services projects and programs, managing financial systems, and preparing detailed financial reports.

    CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

Additionally, positions in law enforcement classifications and those supporting law enforcement functions will be required to complete a conviction history questionnaire prior to or during the interview process. Applicants for positions with access to Medi-Cal billing software or who are licensed providers must clear the Federal Exclusion List, credentialing, and social security verification. Failure to clear these requirements may result in an employment offer being withdrawn.

    The eligible list resulting from this recruitment may be certified as a substitute list for a substantially similar classification. For this purpose, a substantially similar classification is one at a lower level in the same classification (example: entry level vs. journey level) and/or a similar classification (similar work performed, similar training and experience qualifications required).
