Job Summary The technology integration coordinator contributes to the college-centered service model of technology integration within the College of Education by supporting the technology staff in addressing the technology needs of the college, which include, but are not limited to using hardware, software and online technology tools, integrating and enhancing technology use for college processes, and participating with CED technology staff in supporting the college’s new custom database and application system.
Key Responsibilities - Custom Database Development, Testing and Technology Support - Support the development of the custom database through liaising with the technology office staff, college subject matter experts and external developers.
- Enhancing and Integrating Technology Projects - Assist with projects relating to enhancing and integrating technology.
- General Technology/Office Support - Provide hands-on computer support for CED faculty, staff, and students with new database tool and campus hardware/software applications.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Understanding of computer hardware including printers. Troubleshooting skills are also preferred. Basic understanding and knowledge of the following programs: Microsoft Windows, SharePoint and Apple Mac OSX operating systems, Office for Windows and Macintosh, most major internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari), and campus technology tools. Familiarity with video editing apps and screencast tools such as Camtasia also preferred. Familiarity with databases and basic coding skills are a plus. Interest in using technology for improving College functions.

Education and Experience • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, Communications, or related technical field required.
• Master's degree in computer science preferred.
Physical Summary - Light work - Job involves some lifting of medium weight objects (10-20 pounds) and/or 10% - 20% of the job involves standing or walking.

Compensation Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $3,070- $5,910 per month.
Benefits Excellent benefits through CalPERS (health, vision, dental), tuition fee waiver, generous vacation and sick leave, and 14 paid holidays each year.
Time Base 0.75 time-base, part-time.
