We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to work in our Fiscal office. The position is challenging, fast-paced, and customer service oriented!
- Process Department-wide accounts payables/receivables in SAMII and MissouriBuys and ensure each accounts payable expense is an allowable expense following State Statutes and Department policies
- Fleet and Insurance Coordinator to include managing and maintaining all vehicles and trailers.
- WEX Administrator to purchase fuel and supplies. Will include department-wide contact for ordering, canceling, and managing fuel cards through WEX on-line
- Process account errors (JV/JVR's) in SAMII, refunds, and bad check errors
- Primary Central Bank State and Non-State funds Administrator
- Correct Cash Receivables due to the wrong amount or fund being applied
- Balance receivables at the beginning of every month for specific MDA Divisions
- Prepare Inter-Agency invoices for MDA Divisions in Sam II
- Generate and issue receivables as well as check for CRP documents in Sam II
- Purchasing card administrator and collaborate with UMB and OA for the Division cardholders while managing both permanent and temporary spending limits
- Verify Cash receivables and Sunshine transmittals are approved and filed
- Primary backup for UPS shipping and mail sorting
- Primary backup for front desk coverage
- Other Duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Four (4) or more years of professional or technical experience. Experience can come from a combination of direct work experience and completion of an associate’s degree program.
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Excel experience and knowledge SAMII Financial and MissouriBuys experience Fleetwave experience Titling and licensing of state vehicles Jetpay/Magic experience
