    Description

    Classification: Unrepresented, Non-exempt
    To provide complex systems support and administration for the Agency's core enterprise cloud application - Yardi Voyager. Secondarily, will provide application level support to the Agency's core financial application - Finance Enterprise on an as needed basis. Will provide other application support as needed and assigned.

    Essential Areas of Responsibility

    User Support/Application Support
    • Respond to user requests for assistance, including report generation, data extracts, troubleshooting, problem analysis, requirement gathering and training
    • Analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies
    • Assist departments with their information processing needs
    • Assist with help desk issues related to the supported software
    • Provide coordination between outside vendors and Agency staff
    • Track problem reports and follow through to resolution
    • Provide user procedures and documentation
    • Maintain and support appropriate departmental applications such as housing management software (e.g. Yardi products) and finance software (e.g. Finance Enterprise products).
    • Resolution of technical issues through debugging, research and investigation, managing incidents and requests.
    • Customize Yardi Voyager fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflow rules, reports, and dashboards
    • Act as the primary point of contact for Yardi users and work to resolve Tier 2 issues
    • Assist in training new users, and grow the Yardi skill set across the organization
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Yardi ticket submission and escalation, testing new features and approving deployment to production
    • Assists with Disaster Recovery/Business Recovery Planning & Testing
    • Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures

    Education & Experience

    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
    • 5 years' Enterprise Application Level Support
    • Public Housing industry experience is a plus
    • Ability to learn and master employer-specific software
    • Complex problem solving
    • Written and verbal communication skills to excel in documentation and training responsibilities
    • Ability to diagnose & address application issues
    • Proficient in Microsoft SQL and Excel, with a strong understanding of database schemas and structures

    The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency is a Joint Powers Authority created as a public agency by the City and County of Sacramento in 1973. SHRA is the lead public agency and public developer for the city and the county regarding affordable housing, public housing and redevelopment projects and issues.

    When SHRA was formed in 1973, the Public Housing Authorities for both the city and the county were included under its organizational structure along with the Redevelopment Agencies for both jurisdictions.

    SHRA currently employs about 300 people

    The Agency is one of California's largest Housing Authority and Redevelopment Agency and receives more federal funding for community development than any other entity in Central California.
