What you’ll do: This position is a senior-level specialized support and technical position involving a high degree of independent judgement. Duties include but not limited to, coordinating office functions; maintaining schedules; gathering information and preparing technical reports; maintaining and revising manuals; maintaining credentialing files for providers; preparing for Joint Commission surveys; preparing correspondence to patients, staff, and outside agencies; and responding to inquiries. This position works directly with the Staff Physicians and the Medical Director. The eligible applicants must have effective communication skills, organizational skills and work as a team player.
All you need for success: Typical Qualifications - 3-5 years of office or related clerical experience; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
(Training from an accredited vocational or business school in Office Management, Secretarial Science, or a closely related field may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours, or 480 clock hours, for one year.)
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Office Management
- Assisting with a variety of functions independently.
- Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisors and becoming a valued member of a leadership team.
- Ability to work with a variety of software programs, such as developing spreadsheets, recording meeting minutes, PowerPoint presentations, displays, etc.
- Demonstrate experience in meeting deadlines, tracking workflow and flexibility in working with variety of departments, staff, and facilities.
- Demonstrate experience in setting priorities in an extremely busy workflow with multiple demands.
- Demonstrate ability to maintain and/or track medical certifications and licensures.
