- Positions at Fresno State are to perform their work onsite. Some positions, depending upon University needs and operations, may be eligible for remote work, one day per week, pursuant to Fresno State's remote work guidelines and the CSU policy.

Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach, the successful candidate will manage all scouting for a highly visible NCAA Division I football program. The candidate will manage the day to-day operations of football recruiting, including the budget, advise the head coach and assistant coaches on all administrative areas involving recruiting and oversee all administrative recruiting duties. This position will be the center of all inquiries and questions about Fresno State Football recruiting from the public. This position shall have a strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
Key Qualifications - Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Advanced knowledge of NCAA Division I operations for Football and applicable NCAA rules
- Thorough knowledge of University policies and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of Game-Day Analytics/CAI
- General knowledge of athletic academic requirements
- Demonstrated, highly structured organizational skills in a position with a broad scope of responsibilities
- Ability to:
- Interpret and comply with University and Conference policies and procedures
- Exercise mature judgement and discretion under intense pressure and short timelines.
- Examine procedures and strategic initiatives which will enhance football operations
- Support the gender and diversity equity commitments of the department
- Work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds and project a professional attitude
- A strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
- Ability to communicate at a high level and the ability to work well with many people.
- Demonstrated experience with a recruiting database

Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution
- Three years of progressively responsible relevant experience including football coaching experience, playing collegiate football experience, administrative experience within a collegiate football program, and/or experience working in the NFL.
