About the Role Be part of our Enhanced Treatment and Site Upgrade (ETSU) program, a 7-8 year, long-term initiative to modernize our Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant. You'll collaborate with engineering teams, consultants, and contractors to drive innovative projects that will shape the next 40 years of our infrastructure. Junior Engineer, you’ll:
- Support the planning, design, and construction of wastewater facilities.
- Collaborate with consultants on project scopes and deliverables.
- Oversee inspections, progress tracking, and ensure adherence to design standards.

QualificationsWhat You Bring- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (ABET accredited). If you will complete your degree by June 2025, we encourage you to apply!
- Certification:
- Junior Engineer: EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management.
- Bonus: Knowledge of wastewater systems and experience managing public works projects.
- This position requires a valid California Drivers’ license and the ability to be insured by the District.
