    Overview

Larimer County Community Corrections is looking for a skilled Addictions Therapist to join our team of professionals!

We know you have worked hard for your licensure and are looking to work in an environment where you are respected, supported by colleagues, and receive competitive pay for your time!

Do you find value in serving underrepresented sections of our community? Are you invested in making our community a healthier place? The Addictions Therapist temp will work within our residential and outpatient addictions, mental health, and criminogenic treatment programming with a population that is serving a criminal justice sentence.

This part-time, temporary position is great for anyone currently working at another employer or working on completing additional schooling or certifications!

    Responsibilities

    What you'll be doing:
    • Collaborating with the treatment team to provide individual and group therapy sessions for participants in residential substance use and aftercare programs.
    • Facilitating client-centered, gender-responsive groups focused on substance use, mental health, trauma-informed care, cognitive restructuring, and life skills development.
    • Conducting comprehensive substance use and/or mental health evaluations.
    • Providing individual and relational therapy when appropriate.
    • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
