    Overview

    Larimer County IT is hiring an Organizational Relationship and Change Manager to connect technology and business needs, ensuring smooth transitions and creating lasting impacts. Based on your qualifications, this position may be filled as an Organizational Relationship and Change Manager or an Organizational Relationship and Change Manager Senior.

    In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that align IT services with organizational goals, manage change effectively, and foster collaboration across departments. Your expertise in understanding business priorities and guiding the adoption of new technology will play a key part in supporting the success of our community.

    This is a hybrid position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be required to work in the office at least three days per week.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Serving as the main point of contact between IT and business units, ensuring alignment with IT strategies, advocating for business needs, and fostering collaboration.
    • Identifying opportunities for IT to add value, prioritizing projects, and developing business cases that balance benefits, risks, and resource needs.
    • Leading change management efforts by conducting impact assessments, engaging stakeholders, and guiding the adoption of new tools and processes while tracking success and ensuring smooth transitions.

    Qualifications

    Organizational Relationship and Change Manager
    • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required. Related education or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
    • Three (3) years of experience in business relationship management, organizational change management, or a related role.
    • Obtain Business Relationship Management (BRMP) certification within one (1) year of hire date required.
    • Obtain Prosci Certified Change Practitioner within one (1) year of hire required.
    • Obtain ITIL Foundations within one (1) year of hire required.
    • Possess reliable transportation to work in any County facility required.
    Organizational Relationship and Change Manager Senior
    • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required. Related education or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
    • Five (5) years of experience in business relationship management, organizational change management, project/program management, business analyst, or related role.
    • Obtain Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) certification within one (1) year of hire date required.
    • Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.
