Definition and Class Characteristics
INTERVIEWS FOR SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL BE HELD THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 17TH. We are currently seeking an Information Systems Analyst I and II. Please be sure to apply for all levels of positions which you feel you may be qualified for. Are you ready to be part of an outstanding team? Consider working as an Information Systems Analyst! We are looking for someone who is well rounded, possessing strong customer service experience and technical capability. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that focuses on fostering relationships between our central Information Systems Team and other County departments. We offer the support and flexibility you need for personal development and professional growth.
Our team primarily supports custom, department-specific applications, along with enterprise-wide systems. We collaborate closely with the desktop, network and hardware support teams for projects and product implementations. Training will be provided for specific technologies, so prior experience is not as important as foundational knowledge and a willingness to learn. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to document and present technical processes to nontechnical audiences is an essential.
Beyond great interpersonal and customer service skills, the primary criteria for this position are strong fundamental technical knowledge, project management experience, and an eagerness to learn more specialized skills. Experience in justice-related systems such as computer-aided dispatch and body-worn cameras, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, scripting, and programming are a plus!
The position includes the opportunity to work a flexible work schedule and part-time remote work. You will be working with a friendly and inclusive group of well-rounded Analysts who, in addition to being skilled professionals in a wide array of technologies, maintain work-life balance through a variety of activities from backpacking and barbecuing to art and literature.
