What you’ll do: - Assist with programmatic functions with TDM; including contract, data and fidelity monitoring; technical assistance; Facilitate TDM workgroups and training as needed
- Facilitate meetings and workgroups related to prevention services and programs with contracted providers and field leadership to identify barriers and challenges and solutions leading to programmatic improvements
- Collect and monitor data connected to prevention programs and service delivery
- Support prevention field teams in collaboration with Regional and Circuit leadership to identify prevention needs and barriers to grow the prevention services and programs within the state; develop and implement policy as needed
- Oversee programmatic processes for prevention services based in medical/hospital facilities, schools, and other community locations; develop and implement policy as needed
- Oversee programmatic processes for domestic violence focused prevention services; develop and implement policy as needed
- Provide technical assistance to field staff related to assigned programs
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders on both local and statewide levels
- Assist with periodic case reviews for prevention programs
- Work in collaboration with prevention teams throughout the state; including PDS collaboration with the connection of FCS and other prevention programs
- Other duties as assigned and developed within prevention programs
All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications - Two or more years of experience as a Senior Social Services Specialist (CSSP).
OR
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
and,
- Four or more years of professional or technical experience providing social services; or conducting investigations or audits of social service providers, recipients, and/or applicants.
(24 earned graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university in social or behavioral sciences, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field may substitute for one year of the stated experience.A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social or behavioral sciences, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field may substitute for two years of the stated experience. Additional qualifying experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for deficiencies in the stated college education.)
Preferred Qualifications - Ability to travel throughout the State of Missouri as needed
- Availability to be in the “on call” rotation one weekend a month.
- This individual should have strong written, oral and analytical skills with knowledge and experience related to child welfare issues.
- Candidate should possess strong organization skills and ability to complete tasks and projects autonomously
