    Position Description
    Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Responsible for Department of Family Medicine (including Student Health Services) staff personnel files, preparation of ePaf's, leave applications, orientation schedules, etc.
    • HR related duties such as Job Postings, Hiring Processes.
    • Bi-weekly & Monthly payrolls for Department of Family Medicine (including Student Health Services). Audits employee leave balances monthly -- vacation, sick leave, etc.
    • Completes all third party time entry (TimeClock plus) processes for hourly employees of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, including Student Health Services.
    • Reports building maintenance and custodial issues to appropriate TTU department for the Student Wellness Center.
    • Maintains Outlook Calendar for Department Administrator and Student Health Services Meeting Rooms (3).
    • Travel applications, travel advances, and travel vouchers for all Student Health Services staff.
    • Compilation of Monthly Productivity Report for Student Health Services.
    • Balances Cash and Submits Deposits for Student Health Services.
    • Incoming / Outgoing Mail Distribution in Student Health Services.
    • Credentialing/Licensing upkeep & assistance.
    • Building Emergency Manager responsibilities pertaining to Safety Services.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
