Environmental Health Manager* who plans, organizes and directs one or more environmental health programs to prevent environmental and consumer hazards through surveillance, enforcement and community education. The position may oversee a variety of programs, which include: Food Protection, Recreational Health, Vector Control, Water and Waste Management.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Travel/License: Travel throughout the County may be required and employees will be required to make provisions for such transportation.

Minimum RequirementsCertification: Must possess and maintain a valid certificate of registration as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) issued by the State of California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
AND Experience: Four (4) years of experience as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist in an environmental health related program, which includes one (1) year of direct, full-time/full-scope supervisory experience.
