Position Description: Main responsibilities: - MCM - (Minimum Control Measures)
- MCM3: Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination: Inspect and evaluate stormwater system, including outfall inspections and mapping.
- MCM4: Construction Site Runoff Control inspections in compliance with the Licking County Sediment, Erosion and Stormwater Regulations, EPA Construction General permit and the approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans - Best Management Practices (BMPS).
- MCM 5: Post construction Stormwater Management: Annual inspections based on Operation and Maintenance plans on file.
- MCM6: Pollution Prevention and Good Housekeeping: assist with pollution prevention training and help with facility inspections.
- Earning and maintaining a minimum of Qualified Stormwater Inspector certification
- Working with landowners/residents with technical assistance calls
- Assists in conducting tours, field days and educational presentations to elected officials, contractors and general public at workshops
Brief Description: The Licking County Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking a full time Urban Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and education for the urbanized areas of Licking County. Focus on assisting with the County Stormwater Program and the local communites with MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) requirements with their Ohio EPA NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) Program.
