      • Position Summary
      • Classified as: Administrative Support Coordinator I

        Full-time temporary position available on or after March 10, 2025 and ending on or before March 9, 2025 in Academic Affairs, Provost VPAA. Possibility of reappointment and/or becoming permanent based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

        Under the general supervision of the Program Director and in collaboration with the College Corps Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative support functions of the College Corps program. The incumbent will facilitate communications with the College Corps Fellows and site partners in coordination with the Program Manager and Program Director
      • Job Duties
      • Duties include but are not limited to:
        • Acts as a resource and liaises with Fellows for ensuring completion of program application documents and background checks, required program documentation and time sheets.
        • Tracks documents in multiple databases.
        • Assist the Program Director and Program Manager with gathering and compiling information on Fellows for grant documentation purposes.
        • Support the Program Director in scheduling and tracking quarterly one-on-one member meetings.
        • Support program recruitment, application process, training and on-boarding for both community partners and Fellows.
        • Coordinate logistics including scheduling meetings and interviews, reserving rooms, and catering.
        • Respond to Fellows program and policy/procedural questions and problems (in-person, by phone and by email), in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
        • Support planning and execution of events for site partners and College Corps members.
        • Liaison with other campus programs to coordinate recruiting and other events.
        • Support the Program Manager with scheduling and logistics in the provision of training and support to community host supervisors.
        • Coordinate the tracking and documentation of required forms for community partners.
        • Other duties as assigned.
      • Minimum Qualifications
      • Education: Completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents
        Experience: Several years of related office work experience
      • Preferred Qualifications
        • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
        • Experience with social media.
        • Experience scheduling and coordinating events for students and campus groups.
        • Experience with communications and grant tracking platforms such as Basecamp, AmericaLearns, egrants, and Salesforce.
        • Experience with grant tracking and reporting.
      • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
        • Experience to be fully functional in all technical aspects of work assignments.
        • Ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures.
        • Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
        • Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing.
        • Ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages.
        • Thorough knowledge of office systems and ability to use a broader range of technology, systems, and packages.
        • Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects.
        • Ability to apply independently a wide variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist.
        • Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures.
        • Ability to perform standard business math, such as calculate ratios and percentages, track financial data, and make simple projections.
        • Ability to draft and compose correspondence and standard reports.
        • Ability to handle effectively a broader range of interpersonal contacts, including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature.

      • Salary Range
      • Anticipated salary will be $3,864 - $4,250 per month plus excellent paid benefits. Salary will depend on the qualifications of the successful finalist. Full Administrative Support Coordinator I range: $3,864 - $6,072 per month.

      • Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
