Position InformationThe City of Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department is looking for responsible, energetic individuals who enjoy working with young children and are serious about their job. Join our team of aquatics assistants who are dedicated to providing a safe and exciting aquatic experience for participants of all ages and ability levels. This is a part-time position and hours may vary.

QualificationsEducation and Experience GuidelinesAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: License/Certificate:- Possession of an American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED or equivalent at time of hire.

T he recruitment process will consist of:
- Review of applications for minimum qualifications for the position and to ensure all materials have been submitted.
- Department Interview - Applicants possessing these requirements may be invited to interview with the Parks and Recreation Department. The interview will cover elements of the knowledge and abilities identified in the job description.
- Pre-Employment - Applicants who are offered a job will be required to pass a TB and HepB screening through their doctor and will be fingerprinted through the City.
- Onboarding -Applicants who have passed all of the pre-employment requirements will then be given an official start date.
