Job/Department Summary: Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for performing shipping and receiving tasks involving the receipt, storage, issuance and delivery and pick-up of a variety of supplies, materials, equipment and campus mail, United States Mail and other printed and packaged materials for Chico State and some resident packages. Additionally, incumbent performs related work tasks as required and provides backup in the absence of the Lead Distribution Specialist.
Required Education and Experience: Requires two years of full-time equivalent experience in a shipping and receiving department, storeroom, or warehouse in the performance of work involving the receipt, storage, and issuance of a variety of supplies, material, and equipment.

Preferences: Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
- Bilingual.
- Possess a valid Class 2 and 5 Forklift Certification and/or can operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Delivery experience with trucks, vans and carts.
- Experience working at CSU Chico or other large multi-site organization.
- Experience with inbound and outbound shipping software.
Time Base: Full-time
Pay Plan: 12/12
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Summer: Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm
CSU Classification Salary Range: $44,160 - $70,272 per year.
