This position staff’s the facility front desk and main telephone greeting, directing, and providing customer service to all visitors and callers.
Hawthorn Children’s Psychiatric Hospital uses the Sanctuary Model to guide our interactions with our teammates and the care we provide to our consumers in order to promote healing, safety, and nonviolence. This is accomplished by following the Foundation of Sanctuary - The Four Pillars of (1) Trauma Theory, (2) Seven Commitments, (3) S.E.L.F. (Safety, Emotion, Loss, and Future), (4) Sanctuary Tool Kit.
Responsibilities : - This is a part time position
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner, both in person and via telephone
- Transferring calls from a multi-line phone system and communicating on an open channel two-way radio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
Eligibility : - Demonstrate strong leadership and team building abilities
- 0-1 year of experience (substitutions may be allowed)
- Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency
