Bi-Monthly Salary: $1,458.32 Annual Salary: $34,999.68
Location: Truman Building,301 W. High Street, Jefferson City, MO

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
Do you like numbers and enjoy working with people? If so, this position is perfect for you. The person in this position will primarily process motor fuel tax refund requests from individuals and businesses. An ideal candidate will possess a background in customer service with strong communication skills, will be detail oriented and is an outside the box thinker.
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

• Open and sort incoming mail
• Review and process motor fuel tax refund claims
• Respond to customer inquiries through telephone calls, e-mails, & written correspondence
• Participate in cross education of other job functions in the Excise Tax section

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Possess a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency (GED)
• Experience in clerical or office related work
