Job Location: This position will can be domiciled any DMH Regional Office State-wide. At least monthly travel required to various office locations in Missouri. Overnight travel will be scheduled far in advance.

Role Description: This position will serve as a specialist in statewide support coordination practices with a focus on support coordination training and quality assurance. This position will provide guidance, training, and coaching to Support Coordinators, Support Coordinator IIIs, Support Coordinator Supervisors and/or Statewide Support Coordination Specialists to ensure the state support coordination teams are providing quality services.
Expectations - Serve as a specialist in statewide support coordination practices
- Assist with interpretation and implementation of support coordination practices, rules, and regulations.
- Review support coordination documentation to identify inconsistencies and areas of training needs.
- Provide ongoing follow up, coaching, and necessary training to State Support Coordination Teams.
- Present information in person and virtually.
- Effectively communicate updates to processes, policy and/or procedure.
- Attend regular meetings with State Support Coordinators, SCIIIs, SC Supervisors, and Statewide SC Specialists to stay up to date on Support Coordination processes.
- Attend 40 hours annually of professional development and/or training that provides helpful resources and information for the State Support Coordination Teams.
- Support and manage the support coordination onboarding and training processes
- Maintain a new hire tracking system to ensure all new Support Coordinators, Support Coordinator IIIs, Support Coordinator Supervisors, and Statewide Support Coordinator Specialists complete the required training courses.
- Effectively communicate with new staff and their supervisors.
- Regularly facilitate onboarding training follow up sessions.
- Co-facilitate training sessions for new systems and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, training on the electronic PCSP system, ConneXion, etc.
- Develop support coordination tools
- Identify training tools needed for State Support Coordination Teams to be successful.
- Lead projects and tool development workgroups.
- Utilize applications such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Redcap, Relias, Vizio, Tableau, etc., to develop tools and resources for State Support Coordination Teams.
- Ensure new tools and resources meet the DMH accessibility requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or Registered Nurse license and 2 years of relevant experience [which includes, but is not limited to, fulfilling the role of Support Coordinator, Support Coordinator III, or Support Coordinator Supervisor (or comparable roles within contracted TCM entities)].
Knowledge, Skills, and abilities: Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined in the Missouri Support Coordination Core Competencies . Ability to coach and train staff to meet the Missouri Support Coordination Core Competencies, State Plan requirements, Medicaid Waiver Assurances, and State Support Coordination Policies and Procedures.
