The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an IT Security Architect Principal Analyst. The position is scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours. This position is NOT fully remote.

Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone who leads and manages the information security program, systems, policies and procedures and advises senior management regarding risks to the City due to implementation of technology used to operate the City.

Minimum qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 5 years of recent experience with security and networking related systems analysis supporting a wide variety of operating systems, security technologies, infrastructures and vulnerability assessments
• 2 years of lead experience with security and networking related systems analysis
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Desired qualifications

• 1 intermediate or higher industry standard certification within the cybersecurity field
• 2 years of security architecture design and deployment experience

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.

The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and reference check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results.
