    Job Location: This full time position will be located at 112 Plaza Drive, Sikeston. Regular work schedule will be 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends off.

    • This is a supervisory direct care position accountable for administering medication and other prescribed treatments; taking vital signs, assisting with care plan activities; observing and reporting consumer conditions and behaviors; and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. Oversees work of other support staff. Communicates with doctors' consumers, and families, and educates consumers on care. May provide transport to offsite appointments and application of restraints when necessary. May perform some security-related functions in the mental health care setting.
    • Supervising and scheduling direct care staff for campus group homes and SOP ISL homes. Oversees work of other Support Care staff.
    • As part of a treatment team, observing behavior and participating in habilitation programs
    • Schedule training for Support Care staff; aware of vacant positions; assists instruction and orienting new Support Care staff.
    • Preparing reports, tracking leave requests, and assisting in group homes/SOP ISL with staffing/programming, etc. as necessary.
    • Accountable for administering medications and other prescribed treatment such as taking vital signs, assisting with care plan activities, etc.
    • Providing coverage in Group Homes as to meet consumer staffing needs as needed.


    Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. Must possess a valid driver's license. Knowledge of facility practices, rules, and regulations; methods and techniques of supervision. Two to four years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
