Position InformationThe City of Brentwood is currently seeking a customer service-oriented individual to join our Recreation Team! This position serves as administrative support at Brentwood Community Center front counter. Applicants should possess a positive attitude, be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks, be detail oriented, and be self-motivated with a strong desire to work as a part of a team.
This is a
part-time position, generally scheduled Monday through Friday, averaging around 20 hours per week. Shifts typically fall between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, though the schedule is subject to change.

- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
- Two (2) years of customer service experience or two (2) years of experience performing work comparable to a Recreation Leader II with the City of Brentwood.
Licenses and Certifications: - Possession of a valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification, at time of hire, to be maintained throughout employment.

Recruitment Process: Application Review - All applications will be screened to ensure candidates meet the minimum qualifications for the position.
Department Interview - Qualified applicants may be invited for an interview with the Parks and Recreation Department to assess their knowledge and abilities related to the job.
Pre-Employment Requirements - Selected candidates must complete a TB and HepB screening through their doctor and undergo fingerprinting through the City.
Orientation - Once all pre-employment requirements are met and necessary documents are submitted, applicants will be scheduled for their first day of orientation.
