Full-time position available with the Health Department, STI & HIV Integrated Programs/HIV Services Division, located at 2400 Troost Ave.
Salary Range: $18.61-29.39/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Refer eligible clients to Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (MDHSS)'s Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) program for assistance with the cost of outpatient HIV medical care and treatment.
- Annually screen EHE clients to determine the need for continued services or graduation from the EHE Program.
- Provide EHE clients with referrals to community resources, including health insurance and MDHSS' Ryan White program when eligible.
- Transfer and input data between SCOUT database and KDHE's client database while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with established data entry standards and protocols.
- Review client database to ensure eligibility documentation is available and information is accurate
- Communicate with RW Case Managers and gather information to connect clients with MDHSS and KDHE's HIV programs.
- Coordinate with MDHSS, third-party claims processor, HIV providers, and pharmacies to minimize billing issues for EHE clients.
- Support meeting planning and facilitation, including making room reservations, creating and sharing meeting agendas, and maintaining meeting notes.
- Receive, sort, and organize mail related to case management programs.
- Provide administrative support to KCHD's HIV Case Management program.
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school graduation and 3 years of increasingly responsible secretarial and/or clerical experience; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience.

For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
