This position will be located at the: Missouri Geological Survey-Water Resources Center, Robert E. Meyers Building, 1251 Gale Drive, Rolla, MO 65401.
Duration of Assignment: May 2025 to April 2026, or 1,000 hours worked, a flexible work schedule is possible.
- Extensive work in ESRI ArcPro version 3.3
- Maintain and update various databases relating to Missouri geology and hydrology, specifically subsurface characteristic of groundwater wells.
- Digitizing documents related to drilled public water supply wells.
- Various field and laboratory work (spring evaluations, observation well maintenance, well cutting prep, etc).

Equivalent to those typically gained by:
- Knowledge of ESRI GIS.
- Comprehension of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
Experience to be Gained: - Better understanding of ESRI ArcPro.
- Greater understanding of the geology and public well construction across Missouri.
- Expanding knowledge of Missouri Geological Survey’s resources and data.
