This position is with the Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC) supporting the Operations Team. OA-FMDC is committed to strengthening the State’s investments while providing a safe and secure environment through innovative design solutions and excellent customer service.

- Assist FMDC Operations team in the daily oversight, maintenance, and comprehensive HVACR operations of facilities in the North Central Region.
- Shadow and assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance, as well as preventative and corrective work orders.
- Observe and learn troubleshooting techniques for heating and cooling equipment.
- Provide support in performing system inspections, diagnosing issues, and recommending solutions.
- Help maintain inventory, workspaces, machinery, and equipment.
- Participate in hands-on technical work to expand your knowledge of HVACR systems and services best practices.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license or from an adjacent state if you reside outside of Missouri.
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s degree program, technical college, or vocational college.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to properly lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Preferred Field(s) of Study: Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC); Facilities Management and Operations; Construction; or other related field.

*This position is physically demanding. Examples of job duties may include prolonged periods of walking/standing/sitting/bending/driving, climbing ladders, ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, working in inclement weather and working on uneven or elevated surfaces.
