Job Location: This full-time position will be located at 112 Plaza Dr., Sikeston, MO. 63801. Regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday off. This position may require after hours support and rotating on-call responsibilities. Some travel will be required at times to attend scheduled trainings and meetings, with the potential for occasional overnight travel.

- This position oversees the daily operations of the SEMORS- Sikeston campus, including oversight of habilitation programs, active treatment, adherence to state and federal regulatory guidelines, and managerial oversight of support staff.
- Directs or assists in the overall planning, development, and administration of the Sikeston campus; assists in the direction of the development and implementation of departmental planning issues.
- Directs or assists administrative personnel in general management aspects of policy development and program planning, management, and coordination as related to assigned responsibilities; assists in the evaluation of the effectiveness of policy and/or organizational changes and new programs.
- Reviews and/or revises programs in area of responsibility to ensure compliance of operations with laws, regulations, policies, accreditation, and certification standards.
- Participates in the development, implementation, or interpretation of new or revised programs and departmental or legislative initiatives.
- Serves as a member of the SEMORS executive management team and coordinator for the interdisciplinary team.
- Conducts inquiries, institutes special studies, and prepares and/or reviews reports and related information to evaluate existing organizations, policies, procedures, and practices as related to the assigned program.
- Represents and/or serves as a liaison for the assigned area of responsibility; maintains contact, cooperates with, and addresses federal, state, local, and community organizations, and other interested groups pertaining to the assigned programs.
- Exercises considerable initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assignments; receives general administrative direction; work is reviewed through conferences, reports, and evaluation of operational results.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 earned semester hours or 36 earned quarter hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Recreation (including specialty areas such as Art, Dance, Music, or Physical Education), Dietetics, Criminal Justice, Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Nursing, or other specialties in the field of human services; and , Five or more years of relevant experience, and 1-2 years of supervising experience. (Substitutions may be allowed) Applicants must be eligible for designation as a QIDP under Federal standards for an Intermediate Care Facility-Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID).
Preferred Qualifications: - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with and support individuals from different backgrounds.
- Ability to identify systemic considerations that will contribute to optimal services provided to individuals residing at the facility and also identify opportunities to promote a positive and educations work environment that supports all team members.
