    Duties Description

    Under the direction of the Administrative Specialist 1, SG-18 in the Regional Business Office, the selected candidate will provide general office and clerical assistance. Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Assist the Program Aide, SG-13 by supporting activities directly related to inventory/asset management, pool vehicle usage, and rental vehicle procurement and management.
    • Assist with procurement and preparation of purchase orders, requisitions, and refund processing.
    • Operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and copiers.
    • Use various information technology applications such as email, database, spreadsheets and word processing applications.
    • Utilize paper and electronic filing systems; and assist with physical file retention and storage.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
    • Adhere to the agency’s Code of Conduct Policy and ensure compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures in the performance of daily tasks.

    Minimum Qualifications

    There are no minimum qualifications for this title per Civil Service.

    Additional Comments

    OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment.
    • Must have the physical ability to perform occasional medium to heavy lifting.
    • Must have basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

    BENEFITS:
